Good Neighbour Recognition Program
Do you know someone in Oxbow who goes above and beyond to help their neighbours and improve our community? Nominate them for the Good Neighbour Recognition Program!
This initiative aims to honour individuals who exemplify the spirit of neighbours helping neighbours. Recognized individuals will receive a thank you card signed by the Mayor and Council and a $25 gift card from a local business.
A good neighbour might:
- Check on a neighbour in need
- Invite neighbours to a get-together
- Keep their property and boulevard looking nice
- Take care of a Little Library
- Shovel snow or cut grass for a neighbour
- Organize a neighbourhood clean-up
- Help a neighbour with a project
